Retrospective David Hockney at the Louis Vuitton Foundation (Paris)
Hockney born in 1937 in England, studied at the London Art School and moved to California in 1964 then moved to Paris and to the States again In 1998.
He painted the Grand Canyon and in 2000 the Great Wall story of the painting over centuries.
Famous for his representation of the day life and of men’ portraits he moved to more attraction to nature and started to create on his laptop since some years.
The exhibition is impressive and as a neophyte amateur I do prefer his work of his beginnings and mature period instead of the current work. ANYHOW RESPECT
