TO DO
Sleeping
Without a doubt, the Mamounia Palace! Garden, pool, sumptuous suite, service.
Eating
Try the Brasserie Française at the Royal Mansour. Try the Burgundy specialty gougère with cheese.
Looking
Definitely the magical end-of-year decor at the Royal Mansour: pink peacocks and more roses and pink, all bathed in the scent of roses.
Gardening
Of course, the Majorelle Gardens: rare species, not too crowded, reserve your time slot.
Fashion
Obviously the Saint Laurent museum. Perfect scenography for timeless, must-see pieces. Some interesting drawings.
Cafeteria
Shams The one in the museum, of course! Perfect service and a soothing atmosphere.
Museum
The one dedicated to jewelry (MAP) is really worth a visit: extraordinary jewelry, headdresses, the whole range of jewelry from Morocco to Arabia.
Dining
Restaurant Bacha (near the Musée des Confluences). Come nightfall, dine on a bed of rose petals. Delicious pastilla!
Shopping
A visit to the souks is a must and very interesting. I enjoyed finding authentic crafts there, especially the pottery.
Tourism
Don't turn your nose up at a little carriage ride, even if it's not the best thing for the horses!
Fashionista
Maison ARTC will delight you with its authentic, chic, and inventive handmade creations. Prices are in euros, not dirhams (chic and shocking).
Charming
Chonchon et Chocolat! Absolutely charming decor! A touch of Matisse! Lovely welcome! Pastries and some homemade clothing that are quite interesting and very affordable.
Palaces
The Bahia Palace is sumptuous (19th century) and the El Badi Palace is definitely worth a visit (16th century).
Contemporary art
The MACAAL has just reopened! So now is the time to go.
Recovering
Why not try a hammam! The Ziani is renowned for its cleanliness and decor.
