WIDE & HISTORICAL

Buenos Aires is a very big city with broad avenues, many streets planted with trees, beautiful monuments and a rich past largely European. To see in no particular order the Colon Theater, the Casa Rosada, the MALBA (museum of modern art, the Obelisk ... 10/10

WALLS

Humor or street art but mostly life. The walls of Buenos Aires will enchant you. 8/10.

COOL&GREEN

Trees everywhere, parks, young people who doing sport, a clean and soothing city (despite the intense but not dramatic traffic). 8/10

FAVELAS

As a Latin American country Argentina has its favelas, even though in Buenos Aires one does not have the impression of being in a country that has experienced, or is experiencing, economic crises. 5/10.

DECORATED

Very beautiful statues everywhere and of course that of Evita in the middle of the bourgeois area of Recoletta, presented as fleeing the high society that hated her. 10/10

HOUSES

A fusion of London, Paris and Madrid, Buenos Aires is an authentic but European city with interesting or magnificent houses and buildings. You just want to live there, at least for a while. 10/10.

TO DO

SLEEPING

I would mainly recommend the Four Seasons, ideally located in the Recolletas area, nicely frequented pool,

lovely mansion adjoining the main building, comfortable rooms, delicious vintage ham at breakfast. 8/10.

The Osaka (Japanese/Peruvian) in Recolletas is very good (Soler 5602),

the one in Puerto is not bad, or Milion in a very Belgian private mansion.

Or for lunch the restaurant of the MALBA. Vietnamese? Sudestada.
